The March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that fights premature birth and problems that threaten the health of babies. The MOD has been a leader in research in this area for years. They have helped develop many medications, vaccinations and tests that save both full-term and premature babies today.
This year marked the 75th anniversary for the March of Dimes. To honor this great accomplishment they went all out for their March for Babies event. They moved to a new location, the University of Dayton River Campus. This new venue provided plenty of space for participants, vendors, bands and even the Care Flight helicopter. There were new family fun activities and restaurants to add to the fun.
This was INVOTEC’s second year in a row to support the March of Dimes effort. We not only exceeded our goal from last year, we far exceeded our goal for this year. To celebrate, we participated in the annual March for Babies event, completing the 5K walk along the Miami River.
