Invotec Engineering and Butterfield Engineering announced their plans for cooperation on December 17, 2018.

Invotec provides custom automation equipment to medical device manufacturers for assembly, test, and inspection. As customers continue to face tighter regulations, Invotec recognized the need to integrate stronger software capabilities into their equipment for better data collection and analysis.

Butterfield Engineering specializes in software solutions for manufacturing systems with a strong expertise in the National Instruments LabVIEW software platform—a technology widely used in medical device manufacturing. They identified an opportunity to provide their customers with complete systems in addition to their software solutions.
