In their most recent article, “Line Design,” Assembly Magazine asked integrators to explain how they help customers determine what type of equipment they need. Invotec is featured in the article, outlining the questions we ask our customers before we begin designing a custom solution.

In the report, Todd Westfall, one of Senior Applications Engineers reminds readers that, “a lot depends on the customer’s expectation for return on investment” (pg. 59). For example, helping a manufacturer to error-proof the assembly process of a medical device requires a different approach than increasing the production volume of an automotive sensor.  That’s why Invotec begins every project by ensuring we fully understand our customer’s needs and wants when it comes to production goals, cost, delivery schedule, and environmental factors.
