INVOTEC is Expanding

InvotecNews, Uncategorized

The final approvals from the City of Springboro have been made for INVOTEC to go ahead with the 34,000 square foot expansion of its existing facility. This expansion was a carefully planned strategic move for INVOTEC to allow capacity for the growing network of employees and customers.

This expansion will be rolled out in two phases. The excavation for the first phase has already begun. Part of this phase will be constructing the additional manufacturing space along with three new labs and a conference room to the west of the existing facility. The manufacturing area will include a high-bay structure, four feet higher than that of the current bays, and an overhead crane bay.

Part of the current parking lot has also been removed during phase one of the construction process, but there is additional parking on the surrounding streets. Although there will be a couple months of inconvenience outside the building, there should be minimal impact on the indoor workplace. This phase is expected to be completed by November of this year.

The second phase of the expansion is expected to begin a year or a year and a half from now. This phase will be a reconfiguration of the current building. More offices, conference rooms and bullpen space will be added as well as additional parking. In the construction’s final stages, the west wall of the existing building will be removed to connect the two structures. At the end of this stage, INVOTEC will have more than doubled it’s space.

Thank you for your patience during our construction!
