History

INVOTEC Engineering, Inc. was launched on November 1, 1993. Founded by the two current owners, both manufacturing engineers, the company began with a total of four employees in a 1,500 square foot leased facility. As the company grew, it was twice relocated to larger facilities. INVOTEC now employs over sixty engineers, technicians and machinists in its own facility, located on a five acre site in an industrial park south of Dayton, Ohio.

From its inception, INVOTEC has been involved in the development of assembly and test systems, tooling, fixtures and gauges for clients in various manufacturing industries. Services provided in the early stages of the company’s development only included mechanical and electrical design. Since that time, INVOTEC has grown into a full service supplier of manufacturing solutions through new process development support and with innovative, custom designed and built assembly, inspection and test systems.

The company has always approached projects from the manufacturing client’s point of view, using sound engineering principles while providing systems with robust, functional designs and detailed documentation. INVOTEC strives to make sound use of technology, both in the manufacturing systems we design, as well as the company’s own internal tools and systems. We currently design systems using state of the art 3D solid modeling software. The manufacturing facility uses CNC milling, CNC turning and grinding equipment in the production process. The systems we manufacture for our clients use sophisticated sensors and industrial controls to provide robust assembly and test solutions with integral error-proofing.
